How I Built a Profitable Airbnb Business: From New Host to Superhost!
It all started with a trip. I was sitting by a large window overlooking the majestic Himalayas in a cozy Airbnb, sipping my ginger tea and watching the sun dip behind the mountains. I’d booked the place for a quiet getaway, not expecting much, but that evening changed everything. The space was so thoughtfully designed — comfy linens, a handwritten welcome note, even a few snacks that made me feel right at home.
That experience planted a seed!
As a guest, I was blown away by how small details could create such a big impact. It felt like more than just a place to stay — it was an experience.
That’s when the thought struck me: “Could I do this?”
At that time, I had an unused studio apartment, collecting dust and cobwebs. We mostly used it for housing the props & costumes from our older plays. You see, that’s the real property we gather as an actor :)
Well, I had never considered Airbnb before, but something about that stay made me realize the potential.
That moment of inspiration triggered the journey. What started as a small side project to make use of my warehouse has now grown into a full-fledged hospitality business, far beyond anything I initially imagined.
